Nothing (Important)

Hehehe, got a Rosetta Stone quote in!

Anyhoo, lazy today. I went into town to check somewhere David and Donna had seen tubing, to see if I could use it to finish off my [livejournal.com profile] darktor styled falls, as I am too cheap to buy some :o from Kit. Anyway, needless to say, despite them telling me it was 'perfect', it wasn't. Aaaaaarrrrrghhhh. I NEED some split wire loom in black, I am even bidding on some on ebay and considering paying extortionate shipping from the US in my desperation! I have prepared the foam, the narrow tubing, nicked a bunch of cable ties from Ghost's DJ toolcase, the whole 9 yards, I just need the wire loom. Ghost has been full of sympathy, as I am so fed up and I want these falls so bad!

It depressed me so much to have made a 30 mile round trip for feck all that I went to Marks and Spencer and bought 3 cappucino bars, and ate 2 of them waiting for the bus. Well, my painkillers say 'not to be taken on an empty stomach' after all! I had the other one after tea.

The pain is not abating and the bus ride home was one of the lower circles of hell, I ache from ankle to mid back currently and I have to see the doctor.

On the plus side, I suit my new pinstripe bondage dress, go me! However, heels were agony so I wore my New Rocks, and hence was very short, confusing everyone at Contamination Radiation. CR was dead and the venue TWICE asked us to turn the PA down because the fucking townies upstairs couldn't see the football, so we have quit. Ghost just needed one more straw, and the camel's back is officially broken. I rarely see him that angry, it's strange.

I made Chris a tabard for his LARPing weekend, he was over the moon, bless him. I hadn't the heart to tell him they only take about half an hour to make! However, I have done no sewing today, and I plan to do none tonight. :) Packaging everything up to go out tomorrow, as cheques etc have cleared, and auctions are done, and stuff must go out :) Oh, and I got a new copy of Gothic Beauty, complete with 5 pages of gothic lolitas, their clothes are soooo pretty!

Oh, and Vanessa is out of the Big Brother house with an 86% vote share! YAYAYAYAYA! I hate that bitch!

here is a link for the guy i bought wire loom off in the US, it worked out at about £15 -£20, but there was a lot there, i still have some. I bought the thinner stuff.

also you can get ribbed tubing ( for her plesure oo err... no no wrong thing I am thinking of thre LOl!)
ahem... in b and q- it white and thicker, don't know what its for but its about £4.99 for 5 meters, I found it where plugs and cable ties and wiring was, it's coiled up.

Here it is in some falls , I sprayed it silver.

I have been looking at the pack of mixed sizes from A & K actually, he emailed me the postage costs for a roll and I nearly had kittens! Probably because it was in US dollars and not pounds :) That piece you made for your hubby looks fantastic, I think it's one of the best mixed falls I've seen.

If you got good service from A & K, I think I'll check my Paypal and see about just buying the mixed pack, you get 5 lots of 10m, each a different width, I think that may work best for me.

Then there's just the leather-look Victorian jacket and skirt, and I'll be all set for Whitby!
