All scratched up and nowhere to go...

Came home from grandad's yesterday to find cats fighting in the garden. Baalthazar refused to let go of a cat which regularly has a wander into our garden. For a cat who just decided he didn't like his owner and was coming to live with us, he is very territorial. Ghost and I separated the cats, and I tried to get Baalthazar back into the house. So he bit me and I dropped him. I then picked him up and he scratched me all up my right arm and on my left hand, at which point I tapped him on the nose to discipline him. This seemed to remind him that I was boss :) and he stopped scratching me, but I was already bleeding from several puncture wounds. My arms now have several livid scratches on them and I am going to have to dig out gloves/ armwarmers if I'm going out anywhere!

Ghost's thumb is still very sore, and I think he is going to have to pull out of Contamination Radiation as we are not sure if it will be healed in time. He's trying to decide what to do at the moment, I really can't help much as it's his decision.

I think I will go to Stanley and have a look around the market. It's a bit crap since my favourite make-up stall gave up their pitch, but I might spot something fun. I love markets, you can get all kinds of stuff from them :)

I got attacjed by one of my little darlings the other day as well; Skirlie, my loveably overweight ladycat decided to launch herself out of my arms by using my neck as a starting block... I've now got three paralelle scratches decending vertically down my neck and chest, it's just as well its cold up here at the moment so should I need to go out I can wear a scarf - it really looks ridiculous!
Anyway, Madame and her cousin Haggis spent last night outside in the rain by their own choice (?!) and are feeling very sorry for themselves on the couch just now ::rolls eyes::

hehehe:)Be carefull though, desinfect that well:)(cats ofcourse have all kinds of nasty shit under their nails:)My cat Knuffel always puts his claws in my clothihng ánd skin when I pick him up(Doesn't matter how secure I hold him):)But him being so fluffy is irresistable to not cuddle him and pick him up...he rarely scratches "on purpose"but when that happens i always desinfect it with H2O2(waterperoxcide, 3%)or sterilon+betadine:)...
Btw:)can i add you to my list;)?
