Silly Cow strikes again
I think the Silly Cow(TM) knows she is in trouble.
She was sucking up to me like MAD on Saturday night, telling me I "shouldn't leave it to the boys" and that I "was better than them anyway". Alternatively, she is mad.
CH was totally packed on Saturday. We thought it would be half-empty with Whitby next weekend, but some new people came along and they were very nice. There was a guy called Mark who was on his own so I worried about him (oh God, I am becoming everyone's mum. Someone shoot me!!) and two Americans my friend Jo accosted in the street and frogmarched along. Go Jo! (Actually they stopped her and she gave them directions, but I like my version better ;) ) They were very nice and chatted away. I like that in people as I'm terminally nosey.
Had a much needed day off yesterday, to recover from all the events of last week. So back on with the sewing today, as the rent doesn't pay itself :) Looks like I got the wedding dress commission, go me! I have to work up some sketches etc, that's tonight's task. Today I am going to make a size 16 pinstriped bondage dress, a size 16 pinstriped bondage skirt, and at least cut out something from dark red stretchy velvet, as I have a design to use up some of my black decals. It will probably be an 18 - 20. I must dig out the dark green stretch velvet for something. I'm also working on the pattern for a plus- size design inspired by one of the new Lip Service dresses, I have a pattern which could be adapted to give a similar but not identical dress.
And I must contact Lars about doing a few shots of the cyber stuff. Lars is one of my friends and a very talented photographer. He will be happy as it will probably involve Jenni, who is extremely pretty. If she wasn't my friend she would make me sick ;p She has quite a few of my cyber pieces as I tend to give them to her for Christmas etc. I will probably have to do some modelling myself (oh joy) as we need some 'plus size' shots and I'm a big fine girl :) I'd get another of my friends, Laura, to do it, but she's busy at the moment. Then I can chase up getting my site live, and not before time. I will have to find some male models as well, that should be fun.....
