Sometimes I make vague posts about my 'illness' on here. Basically, I suffer from a condition known as either Chronic Interstitial Trigonitis, or Interstitial Cystitis. You can google if you are desperately keen to know the symptoms, I won't bore everyone with recounting them.

Suffice it to say it's painful, debilitating, and thoroughly unpleasant.

Around about 18 months ago, I developed a severe allergy to the only medication available for its treatment. I currently have a pain management regimen and that's it. I am apparently not 'sick enough' to merit one of the two highly experimental, painful surgical solutions. In the modern day, there should be more options than this for an illness with millions of sufferers worldwide.

So, please sign this petition. I know how few of these are successful, however, the UK government won't even recognise this illness as a debilitating condition, let alone a disability, at the moment, and any awareness campaigning helps :D
