So anyway...

Today I was kicked out of an English Heritage property, as my photographs are apparently "for commercial use" despite the fact that the T & C doesn't seem to say anything about commercial use except that you're not allowed to sell the photographs.

Oh well. No point arguing with a jobsworth!

Anyway, on to the pretties:

Everything stops for tea! :D

My new bustle skirt, in Chinese silk jacquard, with matching shrug. There are better pictures coming!

A little washed out, but Laura in Regency splendour :)

Oh, I am jealous of the frolicking! Looks a bit windy, I trust there was no rain though =) Good stuff!

No rain, just Mr 'It's more than my job's worth...' :) Although I am knackered today, it was great fun :D

I had so much fun. Never ever done anything like that before so it's certainly a day to remember. Thank you!

Spending a day in fabulous clothes, being treated like a queen, marvelous. :)

Thank you to you and to Kathy, from the quality of the shots even on my dodgy digital I would definitely ask both of you to do it all again :D

It's an absolutely stunning fabric, it comes in a good range of colours. :) There's more to come, if you are on Laura's LJ you may have seen pictures of her in my Victorian style crinoline dress too :)

lovely fabric- reminds me of the green set you made for me- how was it to sew as I know my material was a bugger!

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2008-09-15 06:57 pm (UTC)(link)
It's very similar to yours, but I'm making the skirt the way of my usual bustles, so that yours will still be unique :D The fabric is a little easier, as it's a little thicker, I have a better machine, and I learn quite fast, so what I learned doing your set and the couple of overskirts I made from this material has been applied to this set :D

I shall indeed, it has been drawing gasps of admiration on my stall dummy and I bought a bail of the black, so I shall definitely be making some more for the stall :)
