I got mail!

My Gene Loves Jezebel CD is here! Yay! It has a remix of 'Motion of Love' (my least favourite GLJ song) which makes it more listenable, which is good, and a Mission remix of 'Heartache' which needs to be played on Saturday! The postman gave me a great big bundle of packages this morning, which cheered me up no end :) I have been making PVC stuff for orders all day, and am now having a break before I hallucinate in the fumes from the silicone spray :o

Jillian is coming round tonight, she popped round yesterday to tell me that she has an order from me, a local woman who wants a cuirasse corset made. She's dropping round tonight so we can have a good old bitch about stuff. Yay! I don't know if David and Donna, or Jamz, are joining us, but that will just mean more biscuits for the rest of us! :)

Oh, and the man from the council came round to look into the hole in our bathroom floor today (I quote "Yes, that's a hole in your bathroom floor alright!") and I talked him into giving us a new bath as well! Well, shy bairns get nowt, in the local vernacular :) Go me! I'll finally get the bathroom the way I want it.

So all in all, it has been a good day, despite a crap night's sleep as Ghost was on an overnight shift at Samaritans and it was weird to sleep alone. I also had to take the cat for a walk (I know how it sounds!) because Baal keeps following us when we go to the bus stop, as it's right next to a woodland preserve. Anyway, he followed us down to the bus stop and kept trying to cross the road to go into the nature preserve, so I brought him back home through the woods behind the house. The man who was walking his Doberman thought I was mental, but the people round here already think we're weird, who cares!

Please excuse the baby talk, I adopted the 'keetom' thing on a message board where it was a regular meme, and I can't seem to stop it. :o

you take your cat for walk ?!?!?!? I so want to do that with my new kittens, how young should you start it, is it hard to do?? where do you get the little harnesses from??? will they actually walk or do they try to jump etc???

Actually, Baal walks to heel and comes when called, like a dog :) From what I understand, you can get cat leashes and harnesses, and you can take them out when they have had all their injections. They do wander off and try to jump etc, but if you train them from very young they'll follow you like a dog.

He was so cute, some birds chased him!

Awww, that's so cute! :) Have you ever seen the cartoon 'Catdog' by the way? ;)

No, I haven't. Is it cute? Scratch that, it's probably a redundancy, if it has cats in, it will be cute :)

LOL Isn't that the one where its a two headed cat/dog? A cat's head and a dogs head on opposite ends of the same body? :P
