Evilbay

Nothing one does on ebay is ever quick :/

However, I have added a load of new corsets to the shop, go me! Took ages :(

I will probably be adding more stuff for the rest of the week, I have the most exciting life don't I!

I also photographed about a dozen skirts this afternoon, and should be listing them tonight too :)

oooh I am liking that purple underbust custom... but have no pennies right now! shame are it would go with the purple hair I intend having (already croched all my dreads for whitters!).

gah, hates having no pennies!

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I hate having no pennies too, I am insuring against it with loads of auctionage :)

I would probably be up for swaps you know :)

[identity profile] littlepinkfaery.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 05:45 pm (UTC)(link)
swaps you say... what sort of hair things would you like? I am certianly up for trade :)

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd definitely be interested in a banshee fringe, I'll have a look at your site :)

[identity profile] littlepinkfaery.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
done- but you need to order more than that to make up the difference, a set of falls aswell, maybe banshees in your new colour to match you hair and something else ( as banshees are cheap compared to corsets!)

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I was actually looking at the Banshee wig - I know I would need a wig cap but that would be much easier than footering with falls....

[identity profile] littlepinkfaery.livejournal.com 2006-08-07 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
that sounds like a deal, a wig and a fringe would equal the BIN cost on the corset.

Would you want an extra colour in the wig, as I can briad in a colour or two if you want? I assume you are okay with the roses aswell, you can always take them out if you didn't like them :)

Or if you didn't want the fringe anymore, how about a long single banshee fall in your new hair colour?

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-08 08:39 am (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't mind some red in the wig :) and I'm fine with roses. The fringe in plain black would be perfect.

Now I just need an underbust measurement, what waist size you'd like, and a hip measurement, and I can make up your cincher :) You can send them to marie AT foreverinblack DOT com :D

[identity profile] littlepinkfaery.livejournal.com 2006-08-09 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
so, let me get this straight
1) banshee wig in black with red streaks and roses
2)black banshee fringe

that right?

okay my turn
waist= 46
underbust=44
hips=52

I usually buy a 36" corset as I like a gap at the back but I am happy to go with whatever you feel ( I do own some 38" aswell) I realise 36" is 10" smaller than my natural waist but I once owned a 40" and it met in the middle so it was way too big! I will leave it to your expertise!

very exceited about this- I love trades- it is such a good way to get something by using your talents in return for someone elses!

Will go with my purple hair- see my lj!

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-09 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
That's it :)

I think I would probably do a 36" for you as that corset is set up for that kind of proportion. I've not been using a huge amount of boning in them but I will probably add a bit more to yours :)

I like swapsies too, they're fun!

[identity profile] littlepinkfaery.livejournal.com 2006-08-09 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
oooh claps hands! extra boning would be good! can I be cheeky and sak for a little more lacing? being a big girl, the corset needs to open out a lot before it pulls in, sometimes laces are too short- if you know what I mean!

Any hurry for the hair or is it for whitters? I hav no time frame apart from whitters for a corset so no rush hun!

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-10 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
No rush for the hair for me either, I had no definite plans for it beyond Whitby either!

[identity profile] littlepinkfaery.livejournal.com 2006-08-09 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
ooh one more thing, does it make any difference that it doesnt open at the front- I assume there is still a busk ther but non opening- does this alter the size you need at all? I am sure it doesn't but I thought i would check!

[identity profile] pandaemonaeum.livejournal.com 2006-08-10 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
I put flat steels in the front to act like a busk, i.e. to give a flattening effect. It doesn't alter the size at all, I've never found any different size needed for this style :)

I'll put in an extra-long lace for you too :)

ooooooo

My falls on Sunday were from Headrazor, www.headrazor.com :) The fringe was from cybertechnomage, via ebay :) Littlepinkfaery makes gorgeous wool falls and pre-crimped falls though, you should check out her website!

I was so busy towards the end, I was pretty spazzy myself! I will email you the linkage :D

I knew something had slipped past me, it's been a hellish busy couple of weeks with Infest orders etc. Here you go :)

http://www.ruegger.co.uk/

Go to 'links'. The top one is to Tressa (I think they're www.tressa.de, but don't quote me on that!) Click on 'english' (obviously), then on 'horsehair'. It's under 'tubular horsehair'.

Once you've got what you're after, simply email Ruegger and they'll give you a price and delivery time etc :) They're very helpful :)
