As a gamer, this amused me immensely. I know. I'm sad. I have woken up in a silly mood this morning. At 7am, after going to bed at about 2am. Oh well.

Dene and Chris are desperately trying to persuade Ghost and I to go to the Gathering, some LARPing meet which lasts for an entire weekend, in a muddy field, surrounded by sweaty blokes in sheepskin and fake fur. And they only give you rubber swords! I mean, really, one doesn't *do* that kind of camping :D Besides which, Ghost would go in as a starter level character, commence Machiavellian scheming, and we would be running the show by sunset. Not that Ghost's a control freak or anything, he's just not keen on anything he can't be in charge of ;) Well, except me ;p

Have you never had problems with LARPs? I had a mate who had the anti-terrorist squad crack down on them... Some nearby inhabitant thought serious battles were going on in the woods. :D

Rather traumatic apparently, especially for his 8-month year old son at the time *lol*
