Some corsets

First of all, for littlepinkfaery, the cream and gold corset. It doesn't look great as obviously it's supposed to be on a petite curvy redhead, but it's all I have at the moment!




Secondly, Cathy's red PVC corset. I have included a pic of the inside, 'spilling my guts' so to speak. This was made in 3 layers, with a German coutil interlining courtesy of the fabulous the_bats_meow, and a black cotton 5oz drill inner layer, in the method described in Hunisett. I usually only do that to 2 layers and add a separate lining, but I was concerned about strength with PVC, even the heavy duty PVC I favour!

How do you like working with the german stuff? Do you find it much different than the Whaleys coutil?

I find it a lot different to the Whaleys - much finer and softer, but still very strong. I have noticed that some fabrics with a tendency to wrinkle are coming out much smoother with the German coutil behind. Count me in the next time you're ordering! :D
