Goodbye and good riddance
Well, the last night at the Cage is over.
We got short sets incorporated into the metal during the 'waiting time', we got opened roughly on time, but the turnout for the whole club was pretty poor so we got to shut down early - and we got a lift home. They even paid us, not much but at least they paid us!
However, the lift home was from Marcus, who 'promotes' the club, and I can tell when that man is lying because his lips are moving! He should go into politics :o
It's a massive relief to be out. We played whatever we felt like (Damien cleared the room, he should know better than that by now!) and just generally kept it low key. The punters who were there all gathered in one corner and actually talked to one another, without cliqueing off. It was a good atmosphere, but the club was a bit hot.
Still, it's a relief to be out of it, the club is in total turmoil at the moment and we just wanted to be gone. So no more club nights for us. Just to find a venue to book bands in, and we may have stumbled on one, I know a certain person who will be VERY happy about that!
And I did my good deed for the day, they are looking for metal DJs and I volunteered Laura![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cobweb for the job, Dan has her number so she may hear from them soon.
So, today I will be polishing my halo. Well, actually, I won't, I'm going to see Van Helsing with Jillian instead :D

It was a very nice corset, I was admiring it! You have lovely hair, it's a long time since I saw a woman with hair that long naturally! I'm the woman with the HUGE black hair and mad waving arms dancing :)
